    10k how i fare ..

    at a glance, i am slowing down somewhere after the 8km marking. i think i’ve done pretty well, picking up speed at every km but somewhere after the 8km marking, i lost some energy and was dragging my feet, the sign said ’ grab that bar and and fuel yourself’ . it is a mistake for me, chewing on oat bar was not such a great idea, cos my throat felt dried, and i was chocking on the crust! omg! i shd hv just drank more instead. i spitted out! and was praying hard that there will be one drink kiost up ahead; so i could wash down my crupmy old throat..unforunately there were none..not until after the finish line. thank god i did not choke.

    lesson learnt..(1) never ever chew on oat meal bar while running. oat meal bar do wonders when eaten 1hr before the race. stick to energy gel while running , it will be just fine. (2) trust your waterbottle..lol..hahaha. i really must not forget to strap my own bottle on my next run.

    overall..this is my best time for 10k. official chip time 1hr.22min..hahahaha..i will do better, defenitely. not a world record tho! but i like to pat myself on the back.
